As some of you may know, we've been struggling since last spring to get So Was Red back on its feet. After Myrin left and I hurt my back it took us a while to get going again . . . maybe too long. Our search for a singer was unsuccessful and after trying to recapture our enthusiasm for the band for so long, we've come to a point where it seems best to just call it quits. We've had a good time and written some music we really like, and it's probably best to stop now and not force ourselves to go on at less than full power.
We really appreciate all the support we've gotten from everyone over the past three years. As a sign of our appreciation we've posted the entirety of our recorded output on the music page of the So Was Red site for your listening pleasure.
That site will be up until at least April. You can check back here or there for news on what other projects we might cook up. For now Dave is taking some time off; and Mike and Jarrod have something going that's a little different, we'll post more when there's more to say. We're not really sure what happened with the Frigid Ember comp we were supposed to be on, if we find out more about it we'll post that here as well.
Again, thanks for coming to the shows and buying shirts and . . . mostly . . . just for being you.
