About me: So What Wednesdays is a new hip-hop night at Cafe Bourbon Street (located at 2216 Summit), that has been named in memory of our friend Daymon aka So What aka Racist Joe. We play new and old hip-hop as well as music that generally makes the body move. The resident DJ is DJ Detox and we have performances once per month, as well as guest djs everymonth. This event is hosted by Blueprint. Its FREE to get in ever week unless there is a show or if you're under 21. If there is a show then we charge because artists have to be paid, but no more than $5.
We have only been around since November 2006. Some of our past and future guests/performers include: J. Rawls, One Be Lo, J. Sands, DangerZone, Blueprint, Ill Poetic, Dj Topspeed, Hangar 18, Glue, and Dj Abilities.
