General
In this school you will receive sound Biblical teaching on worship, evangelism, and God's character. You will receive hands on training to sharpen the skills God has given you. But our main goal is not to make you a great worship leader. Our main objective is for you to look and act like Jesus. We are calling those people with a heart for worship and a desire to lay their lives down for the King. In this school you will be challenged to "take up your cross and follow Him."

School of Worship is a ministry of YWAM Tyler.
YWAM Tyler is located in an area steeped in rich spiritual history related to worship. Keith Green, Brian Doerksen, Paul Baloche and many others have come through this area, been discipled and released into ministry. We believe God wants to stir up the spiritual soil of this area again and bring forth passionate people with radical intentions to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

O God, enlarge within us the sense of fellowship with all living things, our brothers the animals to whom thou gavest the earth as their home in common with us. Sure is my amp! So, I walked into church Sunday morning for practice(I was playing bass), and I was informed that I was going to lead the main worship service. The worship pastor/leader was sick so he said, "Andrew can do it!" So.....I did it. I enjoyed myself.
have i told you guys lately how great you are! well it's true and then some! thanks for working so hard to lead us into the holy of holies! i'm so blessed to be around you!

germany sounds nice... yeah, maybe, not, well actually i'm kind a busy, or not, i'm not sure, i think i may be washing my hair this summer. :) actually i would so love to join you all in your adventure with god. but me thinks this may not be the time. waiting on god for direction one day at at time. but germany sure does sound nice. if you all ever want to go to romania and worship god there, i'll hook you up with my family. they would fatten you all up in no time at all. i think you'd wanna stay there in the end. on second thought never mind that. we don't want to lose you.
i'm gonna have to go with chrissy brie below here and say that i would ruin every cd and worship music would never ever be the same and would cause people not want to worship and i really don't want this to happen since i love worshipping Jesus and love it when other people do too...but thanx for the invite. really.
Dear SOW, you do not want me in your school, because I would wreck every CD. But, I love you for asking, and I hope lots of people that you DO want on your CDs decide to come. Maybe part of your outreach could be to D.C. too-worship warfare, it's important!love, Christa
oh man, that sounds amazing! honestly theres nothing i'd rather invest my summer in more! unfortunatly, im still a student, a current sophomore to be exact, and i think im a little young to be accepted into your school. bummer. maby in a few years though eh? im compleatly open to that or what ever God has for me, so untill then ill be prayin.

Dude, i would love to but i'm currently not in a position to take the school. Well money is not an issue with God but its more than that there are so many cool things God is doing here. Please keep me informed as to what goes on, I'm excited to see God move in your school this year!!
I'd love to do SOW but I'm a little tied up right now! I don't think I could take 5 months off. :-) Maybe we could come down and do a night of worship or something. :-) Bless you guys!!!
