Sozo is from the Greek translation meaning salvation, or born again. It was used in the new testament to describe the salvation through Christ. It is redemption that only comes through the name and person of Jesus. It means complete deliverance of your current disposition. In June of 2004, God spoke to Brian Robinson, the founder and president of Sozo guitars. He told Brian to create a brand new guitar line that musicians from every musical genre will want to play. Brian teamed up with a master craftsman / luthier that is highly respected in the music industry, and is used by some of the top names in the guitar business. Together, they created a fresh new TONE CHAMBERED electric guitar. It also has a finish that is unlike any other guitar on the market. Instead of the standard "burst" finish, this guitar has a fade-like finish with a beautiful color transition, that comes from extremely intricate stain precision. The Sozo American Custom was born! To kick off the new year with a bang, Sozo will offer the Z series that will not only have the look, playability, and feel of any other guitar on the market, but will be priced affordably! 2007 is going to be a big year for Sozo with your help!
