I would love to meet Darren Hayes again. I was lucky enough to meet him in Sydney and Brisbane in 2007. ...and yes, he spoke to me both times (massive woo hoo right there!!!). I honestly will remember these moments for the rest of my life. and without a doubt, in sydney the first time he spoke to me, hehe, best moment of my life so far. :)
His music has helped me through the hardest times of my life. I was 10 when i first heard his beautiful voice, and now, i'm 21, and his beautiful voice and lyrics are still prominate in my life. I first heard Darren when i was a wee one. a mere 10 years old. And while i was growing up, Darren's music helped me overcome the struggles that most teenagers go through. There would be days on end, where i would lock myself away, and the only thing that kept me going, was his music.
I can't begin to tell you how much i respect this man and look up to him. I honestly owe my life to him. ...because he saved me. Lets just say, i was a pretty screwed up child. And who knows what may have become had i not had his music.
I would give my right arm to meet Darren again. But you know what? I am more than happy because i have met him. And it probably sounds funny, but those days were the best days of my life.
