About me:

Welcome to Space-Gun Studios. Space-Gun is a graphic arts and creative studio based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Studio members consist of Evan Bryce, Jake Ekiss, Vinh-Luan Luu and Matthew Warlick. Initially, Space-Gun was a weekly humor web comic that ran for over three years. Since that time the creative force behind Space-Gun has grown and its focus has shifted. Now more than a weekly pit stop for funny comic strips, the site has become a house of ideas.

Specifically, Space-Gun Studios is now dedicated to making comic books. Members eat, sleep, and breathe comics; and they are well on their way to creating a diverse range of titles and concepts from their own creative impulses and experiences. Ultimately each member has aims to work professionally within the comic industry either collaborating with like minded talent or on their own developing new and innovative ideas.

The studio’s first official collaborative project was the single issue comic one:OFF which is now available online through Indy Planet. In upcoming months each of the members has a separate project on which to focus as well as follow up collaborative efforts and work for hire assignments.

While Space-Gun’s primary goal is the creation of new creative properties, it also provides artistic services on a contract basis. All told the studio boasts more than ten years of cumulative experience in multimedia/print design, illustration, copywriting, and sequential storytelling (comics). Space-Gun aims to be a haven of cool art, wicked ideas, slick design and phat rhymes.

We do not believe in these silly MySpace "Add as Friends" bots that are rampant through this place. If you were asked to become an one of our friends on MySpace, it’s because you’re one cool mo’fo. ‘Nuff said...
