…..meanwhile, back on board Space Disco One. This definitely ranks amongst your best work! A visual, sonic and mind expanding experience! Surreal, mesmerizing, provocative, humorous (Celebrity Big Brother!) disorientating and at times strangely moving. Congratulations for daring to boldly go where others fear to tread and for questioning the nature of reality and stripping away the conditioning that most have fallen victim to. I know you have your reservations about some of the special fx and that a larger budget would have been useful but for me that in no way detracted from the film. In fact I thought in parts it actually benefited it. The way you have various threads in the film all linked up is extremely well done such as Dirk Benedict/Starbuck/Big Brother, etc. Well done from me and my elfin wife - she was impressed too! (She particularly liked all the pretty stars & the colours during the opening credits during the rink scenes!)
I’m a person who has longed questioned “reality” not only from a social/political perspective but also from a metaphysical one but that’s another story, in another reality…
I sincerely hope it won’t be long before Apple emerges on the horizon of opportunity and a well deserved mega bucks budget comes your way!
