SPACESHIPS IN LONDON June 2009

.. ..SPACESHIPS ARE COOL create their own brand of SCI-FI SUNSHINE POP & RETRO FOLKTRONICA using theremins, glockenspiels, casio keyboards, speak n spells, analog drum machines, acoustic guitars and tenori-on.

we are currently working very closely with LO-RECORDINGS & UNIVERSAL PRODUCTION MUSIC on their 'Indie circuit' production music LPs and with LO on their remix LP of 'the strange world of Bernard Fevre'.

To Date, SPACESHIPS have played live shows at loadsa interesting nights and festivals including: GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL, LIBERTY FESTIVAL (trafalgar square london), CMJ festival NYC, Nottingham's infamous 'RESCUE ROOMS', Birmingham NEC, and intimate acoustic gigs @ jam cafe, maltcross, and muse in Nottingham.

We are sometimes few, sometimes many!.... From solo acoustic shows, to 3 piece folktronica sets, to full 8 piece SCI-FI shows.

We have ongoing collaborations with Hip hop/lounge DJ MR BIRD, TOKYO Laptop artist TATATAMOTO, Nottingham's finest Robot-hip-rock YUNIOSHI, & Iceland's electro band BLOODGROUP. As well as providing music for MTV NYC, MTV LA, & the BBC.
