Spanishfly was formed in August 2005, beginning with guitarist Dong's search for like-minded people on Luthermusic.com's webpages.
A search to find people with a dream.
A dream to bring rock n roll music to Singapore.
Initially consisting of Dong, Titus, Alvin, Ming and Ezal, they took to the stage on the 30th September at The 3rd Place's monthly gigs. Since then they have left their mark at Mosh05, JoieDeVivre at Sentosa, Ngee Ann Poly's NPJAM, Hong Lim Park and RJC's Dreamix, during which 3 changes in members culminated to the current line up of Dong, Jeff, Hairul, Simon and Ming.
The band continually seeks to entertain, relate and provide a medium of temporal escape and emotional release to listeners, singing about the truths and vagarities of life.
Currently taking time to songwrite, SpanishFly is working hard to release an EP in the near future.
