Around 2003, a group of friends needed a place to relax, listen to some tunes and have a drink. They decided to check out a lounge downtown (Toronto) on Front St. called DOWN ONE. Many drinks, laughs and good times later.. A friendship was built with the owner and it was brought to their attention that DJs were needed to liven up the place on the weekends. What started out as "Playing tunes for a bunch of friends" on a Sunday night has manifested into what you see before you today: Toronto's no.1 Club alternative on a Saturday night, Spankdelicious. With nothing but good vibes, a positive attitude and a heavy swagger, the Spank'd crew began promoting the night and gained quite a buzz around the city. With over 2 years under their belt, Spankdelicious Saturdays is thankful to have given Down One Lounge a new vibe and feeling. We owe our success to nobody but the loyal music lovers of Toronto and are proud to open the doors for you each and every Saturday.
