....SPANK.... a vu le jour au printemps 2005. C est sous l'impulsion d'Olivier CHAUZY(guitare et chant) que le groupe s'est formé pour ce qui ne devait être qu'un seul et unique concert. L'alchimie ayant immédiatement fonctionnée entre lui,Olivier CAYREY(basse) et Benoit PLA(batterie),le trio décide de poursuivre l'aventure en publiant dans la foulée en Octobre 2005, et ce avec l'aide de Dominique PARISE et Jean JONQUEZ, une 1ére démo 6 titres qui leur ouvre les portes des salles de concerts.Jean Louis CRUZ réalise dans la foulée leur 1er vidéo clip..... C'est sous cette forme inchangée de trio que le groupe sort le 15 Décembre 2007 son 1er véritable EP 8 titres en autoproduction. Résolument rock ,des titres aux accents powerpop côtoient des morceaux aux réminiscences indés, punk, pop, heavy 70's ou bien garage..... De bonnes chroniques dans la presse régionale comme nationale amènent tout naturellement le groupe au 3éme chapitre : le combo repart en studio en Janvier 2010 pour un 9 titres enregistré et produit par John CHAPMAN. Un son toujours aussi rock, plus plein mais aussi plus nuancé donne une idée de l évolution des 5 années d existence du trio..... L'album sort en Juin 2010 !.. Doublé d'une forte présence scénique le groupe ne compte pas en rester là ! ...... ..SPANK...... ..is a power pop rock band created in march 2005 by olivier guitar and voice, olivier bass and ben drum . It took only 6 months to produce their first EP eponym (with "dodo" PARISE et jean JONQUEZ/"studio mobile") ... All the lyrics are written by MR CHAUZY (a mix English / French)... 2006 has been a massive year of work for them with a lot of gigs in the south of france and the shooting of the two first videos ( "from here" and "why don't you love me) produced by jean louis CRUZ and with the help of many friends for the technique and the make up... 2007 has been the year of all expectation with the recording of the first album (still with "studio mobile")........ .. .. .. .......... .. .. .... ...... ........ ..Acheter l' album "How to break up and other sad stories" 8.99€ en téléchargement mp3 sur la plateforme YOZIK.. ........
