SPANK! is Chris Calix, Pedro Parrado and Leo Peralta and together with The GUAVA Consortium is pleased to announce the fusion of twisted, forward thinking, minimal techno and avant house music with the visual stimuli of Urban Decay Art. Based in Miami, Florida and borne of raw experimentalism, SPANK! is a concept like no other. Delivering hypnotic sweeps in every sense of the word while touching nerves you had no idea you even had. Basslines that pierce the flesh and raise hairs. Cutting beats that leave you wondering, what the hell is this? Your sensory perception left begging for extra while intoxicating your brain in that momentary lapse of judgement. A crowd that is definately "in" and thirsty for the strange. A smile that honestly says, "thank you for being here". While you thank yourself for not missing out.
SPANK! is destined to be that totally different party, breaking the rules when it comes to Miami nightlife. It has been summed up by many in a single word: Refreshing. SPANK! will be a monthly event that will be chock full of cutting edge tunes, art shows, and various other surprises. And no party would be complete without good, open-minded people. That's where you come in. And the best part, it's off the beaten path, hosted at some of Miami's most brilliant, hidden spots.
So, prepare to know what it's like to have a home away from home again. A place where everyone is family. Where you are a part of an underground culture phenomenon. And where, perhaps, you might give a few spanks or might get spanked.

Following on from the massive ‘Myspace’ release, Supplement Facts hands production duties over to Guy Gerber’s occasional production partner-in-crime Chaim. ‘Cosa Nostra’ blends playful, 80s-inspired synths with a thumping, pared-down beat. Pads and FX help build momentum before the track drops into an uplifting, head-twisting melody – a perfect example of the hooky, hypnotic sound Supplement Facts are making all their own.‘ My Point’ is an altogether trackier affair, with synth licks flickering from speaker to speaker while distorted vocals and raw bass drive it forward. One to set the floor at Cocoon alight, the track climaxes with massive stabs, showcasing Chaim’s unquestionable talent for the unexpected.
