This is a difficult one! I have been likened to Nora Jones, but with more bite if that makes sence? I have alot of different sounding songs so have been compared to different people, from Eva Cassidy to Cat Empire to Madonna to Beth Orton.
I have been playing guitar and writting my own songs for around 7 years now. In that time I have played live to numerous audiences and have built up a bank of my own songs which range from delisiously twisted and side- ways, to soul touchingly deep.
I have recorded in lots of different studios but my passion lies in live performance and connecting with a crowd. I also love to busk as a means of trying out new material as the general shopping public are very honest about what they like and don't like!
It has taken me a while to reach a stage where I feel that I have enough good songs and enough confidence to really go for it in the world of music but I feel now is the perfect time and I don't want to do anything else.
Music is my happy place and I am home when emerssed in it.
