Admittedly, I am a bit of a musical chameleon... yet I'm often surprised by comparisons made of myself with musicians whom I'd never imagine my songs associated with... yup ~ as flattering as it may all seem, artists like Seal, Dave Matthews, Van Morrison, John Denver, Johnny Mathis, John Mayor, The Scorpions, Echo & The Bunnymen, Fred Durst and "The The" are very impressive to note, some even unfamiliar to me... but my real influences lie with those individuals and creative artists seen here below — see how many of them you ought recognize ~
+Some people call me a "space cowboy" and some call me the gangster of love... some even call me Maurice, although I'm not really sure why... especially since I've asked them not to repeatedly but they'll insist with arguing "It's a far better name than SPANX..!" ~ so, who am I to refute such logic..? Hiya Spanx...it's been awhile I know...I don't know if you guys knew, but I had a stroke and endovasular surgery this past July. What a shocker, I thought it was a pinched nerve from my back. I came out okay and whole and am doing great...I definitely have angels on my shoulder. As my doc said--"we dodged a bullet"...I am beyond lucky. I've been intending to get a blog out about it...hopefully soon. Please see my page under the heroes section, there's a bit about it there. I've missed you guys so much!! I've been in cleaning spree mode, trying to whip this hovel into some kinda shape now that I can motate again. Then I hope to be back to the Spazz the way I like.
