Spare Change is a regional band that looks and sounds like a national act. From the ultra-high level of instrumental play to the four and five part vocal harmonies, from the thunderous sound production to the eye-catching light show, this band is unmatched in excitement, energy, and crowd interaction.
Frontman Jordan Rouse brings a youthful exuberance to center stage while a veteran rhythm section provides a killer groove, driving a crowd to exhaustion by night's end.
Tuff Blanton, Jeff Morris, and Sam Manriquez (bass, drums, and guitar, respectively) are well known throughout the Southeast for their musical abilities. They've played together in various ensembles for many years, bringing the "tightness" that only intense familiarity can provide. 3 of the finest musicians anywhere.
Veronica Sabiston is an extremely accomplished singer with a "freight train" powerful voice. She shares time with Jordan on lead vocals, allowing Spare Change to take on nearly any song and adding immensely to their already lengthy repertoire.
Matt Bell (electric violin) has played all over the world and brings another measure of high energy and excitement to the stage. Sings as high as anyone and plays a pretty good trumpet as well. Great player!
Wayne Peede is Spare Change's professional sound engineer and Matthew Wade is our lighting technician, and it ensures that our total production and experience is always top-notch.
So what can you expect from a Spare Change concert? You'll hear all of your favorite songs, whether your preference be rock, country, funk, or soul. You won't hear too many bands play Charlie Daniels, Rehab, and the Jackson 5 back to back to back, but you will with this group.
And don't expect to stay comfortably in your seat, either. Most shows end with the crowd crushed up against the stage, covered in sweat and screaming for more.
So whether they're getting funky with Prince and slapping stickers on all the girls, rocking out with Heart, or sharing one of their original tunes, know that you'll be a part of an awesome audio and visual experience you can't get anywhere else.
