Actually now that I looked at your upcoming shows the one on 5/11 looks really good. I liked Joshua Marcus and Erik Harms a lot. (enough to buy their CDs!) I think it'll even be summer by then so I'll be home.

Hey Mark, it's been much too long... Me and Rob have been talking about coming to see you play soon (for real), so you should start playing a lot of shows. Ha. But in the meantime, I recorded a new cover. It's by a Melodic Death Metal band, but don't worry it's not really too metal, and it's an instrumental.

there are alot of cool pubs around here. some blues bands. alot of thai kids playing radio songs (thai radio songs) some really awesome indie rock bands if you go to the right place. i befrended this scottish guy who lives here and has an open mic., he is pretty cool, blues stuff. one night joe cummings (writer of lonely planet stuff) came out and rocked our socks off. i got a write up on bankokjungle website. i love it here man! i rode on an elephant. and met some old mandolin player in pai (north of here) its the coolest motor bike ride ever around the mountians there. come on over. im gonna try to buy some land in or near pai,. beautiful place. and cheap. me and my awesome girlfriend Kae (from here) are gonna build a guest house utopia there. so come on out. ill be back in the states soon. lets make a record! sorry to talk so much, you asked for it., anyway im happy to hear your music and was thinking i would like to hang around someday.
maybe you want to get rich making records with me?

Well I'm glad you're glad. Everything is pretty low-fi right now, as you could probably tell. I'm basically recording with GarageBand and a crappy mic. Hopefully sometime in the near future I'm going to buy an interface for my computer with something Pro Toolsish, and really start learning how to record.

I've already realized what a daunting process it can be... you'd be surprised how many hours I spent getting everything right on that 3 minute track.

I'm staying in a condo in Las Vegas right now, and not being 21 I've got plenty of freetime, so hopefully I'll record/write some new stuff. I just posted a pretty lame cover of Blowin' In the Wind and I'm working on vocals for an I Envy the Photons cover... but it's hard to record with people around so I have to wait till everyone is out or something. Hopefully by tomorrow.

Anyway, I'm pretty excited to finally be recording. But I'll talk to you later hopefully
