Mark, your songwriting is awesome. Would love to play a show with you or your band at some point in the future... maybe a house concert-y kinda thing? Hope to hear you again soon!
Thanks for keeping up on our journey!! I'm posting new pictures at this very moment so there will be new things to see tonight!! All the best to you from the road! -Steph Davies
The Janka test measures the force required to embed a 11.28 millimeter (0.444 inch) steel ball into wood to half its diameter. This method was chosen so that the result would leave an indention 100 square millimeters in size. It is one of the best measures of the ability of a wood species to withstand denting and wear. It is also a good indicator of how hard a species is to saw or nail.
Its nice to meet your acquaintance, Oak Park Ukers!
We hope you'll join us for the next Ukelele Cabaret on Saturday, May 10, at Silvies in Chicago. Our theme will be water - in all its forms. Why not hit two birds with one stone and play one of the Beatles many water songs! "Rain", "Tomorrow Never Knows", "Octopus'Garden", "Yellow Submarine. We hope to see you there!
We really enjoyed your performance & humor! Let me know if you ever want to play again & please feel free to let me know if you want to use the coffee house for any family parties for free as an appreciation for your sacrifice! God Bless!
super excited about the show Sunday. I unfortunately can't release those thousands of baby bees because I bought them for cheap on ebay several weeks back and well...apparently they need food and water to survive. Perhaps a carpet of dead crunchy bees?
so i keep changing what i'm going to call myself as a solo musician. there's also a flyer out there that says "raechel lee ann" (that's where the LA came from, as it is my middle name initials). the first time i played a show i was called 'the darling discontent'. decisions, decisions.
anyway, regardless of my name, we're all super excited about this show. we also decided to make it a cookie potluck, so look forward to deliciousness.
