Started mid 2007, SPA quickly broke through thanks to the demo of Pets Dance which had the gut of an immediate anthem. Supported by London based XFM and Radio 1, then by the Ed Banger crew, SPA signed to Dim Mak mid 2008, and got a few remixes out for Mickey Moonlight (Ed Banger), Pacifc! (EMI) and Neimo (Shangri La) to name but a few.
SPA's debut single Pets Dance was released 12”/digital on Dim Mak february 2009, backed up with remixes from Les Petits Pilous (Boyznoize), The Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki (Dim Mak), and exclusive communist tune Dumbo .
SPA owes much to a retro-futuristic paradigm, a sharpened sense of absurd, and a chromatic triptych.
Next is an adventurous track named Piano Magic out on the Diesel:U:Music Edges Compilation June 2009.
