For years, there has been a cry in the heart of the Father for more worship training and practical instruction. Many have experienced great and wonderful things in His presence without understanding the patterns and principles that lift our worship from self-centered to God-centered.
Spark2Flame began as a mandate of God to release and impart the things of worship to more people and see them step into greater depths of worship.
This came as a word of prophecy to Jason Scott, and he began a seeking process. As he prayed about this, he saw the power that a retreat would have to immerse people in worship in an informal yet practical environment. He saw people bringing their instruments and participating in practical instruction of spiritual principles. People had asked about doing teachings or workshops and God seemed to be advancing the process. While in California, this vision was birthed again as God laid out how it would be conducted and it gathered momentum.
Spark2Flame is based on 2 Timothy 1:6, "For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands." We really believe a lot of people have that spark of hunger in their worship, but they dont know how to get to the next level. As we impart the vision and practicalities of Spirit-led worship, that spark becomes a flame and God advances His kingdom in the earth.
It is our hope that as you participate in spark2flame.com or take a few days in a retreat or conference setting to immerse ourselves in worship and practical application of spiritual principles so that whole cities, regions, and nations can be affected by the power of God that He wants to pour out upon His people. There is something significant that occurs when hungry people meet together to learn and go deeper into worship. He is pleased and He will move heaven and earth to get to us with the life and anointing that we are requesting as we make ourselves available.
