Welcome to the wonderful world of Sparkler Dims. Welcome to the collective minds of Louie, Aaron, and Doug and the soundtrack to their daydreams.
Born out of a drive to create the music they want to hear, Sparkler Dims formed one night of divine inspiration in late 2004 by three friends Louie Thomas, Aaron Bredlau and Sean Thompson. That night the planets lined up and everything clicked the moment the instruments were plugged in. Briefly Courtney Carroll was brought in on drums but when she moved on to The Clydesdale and Love Pentagon, Sparkler Dims brought in Doug De Nada, who completed the mix.
Founding member Sean Thompson left town to chase dreams and stars and Sparkler Dims proceeded to play with a number of other guitar players, including Mike Gonzales (of the Come Down & The Furs), Chili Bob (of the Gold Machine Studios) & Justine Bellinsky (of Moonvine), and most recently Mike Miller (The Laymen) lent his amazing talents to the band for a period of time as well.
Sparkler Dims will continue to explore our unique style of sonic exploration and expression as a trio and often with others in the future and while remaining true to our core ideas and elements.

from the Review Journal 2007 26th Annual Best Of Las Vegas poll...RJ’s pick as Best Local Rock Band:
"SPARKLER DIMS
The Sparkler Dims’ swelling, high-toned drone is defined by it’s restlessness: One mintue the band is anesthetizing you with numbing, elephantine guitars, the next it’s knocking you on your heels with barbed pop outbursts. It’s some compelling stuff either way, a blend of bliss and brawn that dusts the cobwebs off of classic psychedelia."__________________________________
