I tend to measure things in values of 91.6 / 8.4%. It can be a little limiting and means that most of the time I am seriously exaggerating, but I'm a big fan of hyperbole so it usually works out ok.
In 2002 I founded a 'gang' called SPNA. We're not a gang in the violent sense and we don't tend to participate in 'gang warfare'. The government would have you think that this was a problem amongst the youth of today, but it's not true. We believe in finding peaceful solutions to difficult situations. Sometimes we will call heads or tails on a coin, for example. If the situation is particularly dire, we may be forced to choose our favourite Pokemon and have them battle it out on our behalf. In such a case, I would choose Charmander. If he was real.
After turning 21 I became borderline obsessed with Mariah Carey. Sometimes I like to 'channel Mariah'. Even though she is clearly mentally unstable, I think she's very good at her job, and how many people can really say that these days? When I’m having an off-day at work, I put on my Mariah Carey earrings (from her exclusive range at Claire's Accessories) and I feel that they help me to (like her) be very good at my job. I think it’s fair to say that my efficiency is increased by an average of 8.4% when wearing the earrings. 91.6% of the time, 'channeling Mariah' amounts to no more than dressing like a slut.
