Spastic Luscious Nobodies permeate the membrane with their edgy blend of music. The gutturally instinctive brand of sound which they so confidently emit conjures up a sense of animalistic urge which human beings would otherwise have left to the more 'rough and tumble' mammalians. Like the eggs of the Platypus and the Echidna, Spastic Luscious Nobodies are somewhat of an anomaly. Reminiscent of bands such as HLAH, SLN will definitely make you want to gyrate and discover your inner animal. [SKINNY - BIFF MERCHANTS]

Spastic Luscious Nobodies, the name says it all.. these guys are spastically luscious, lusciously spastic and nobody should miss them perform.. from the moment they start to play you will be enthralled by their musical prowess and unable to control your urge to groove to their satiating sounds.
A night spent with the SLN is a night worth bragging to your friends about. [LAUREN - LAUREN :)]

Hey guys, We're coming up to Dunedin again this Wednesday 17th of June to play at Refuel with our good friends Stonehurst from Christchurch, Made In China from Dunedin and Ellen Wilcox will do a short acoustic set at the start. Its free entry & the booze is cheap! Hope to see you there! Cheers Osmium
Hey cobs,
Just letting you know about an awesome gig next weekend in Dunedin,
Yes! The rumours are true, FEASTOCK FEST 09 will take place in the beautiful surroundings of number 3 Fea Street in the Pine Hill / Dalmore area of Dunedin on Sat 28th March 09.
In a nut shell it is going to just be a funking good time without having to take your hat off, you can wear steel cap boots if preferred (or if you would like to be intoxicated that is fine & dandy...)
The festival will run all day (10am gates open) and is a celebration of current Southern bands & artists. The day will go ahead rain or shine in true festival style… There will be a BYO - BBQ available, no glass, etc so pretty please come prepared for anything. No parking available.
Tickets are $10 (strictly limited pre sales only. )
Available from 027 460 5425, hamlo937@student.otago.ac. nz
Cheers

Sharkweek is proud to announce the launch of his new album, "Egyptian Lions".
The new album offers lush soundscapes punctuated with surreal samples, playful melodies and manipulated found sounds. The musical themes drift between ambient, pop and dub.
Spheres of inspiration include outerspace, all manner of pop culture, and infomercials. Musical influence comes from varied sources such as The Orb, Future Sound Of London, Orbital, Boards Of Canada, Lemon Jelly, Astralasia, and Banco de Gaia. This eclectic mix, coupled with some stellar guest appearances from other musicians makes for an evocative and sometimes surprising listening experience.
"A mystical journey through lands afar ... trippy soundscapes, psychedelic ambient dub, futuristic space adventures and glitchy electro pop .. an ear orgasm of sounds that twist and turn evolving into a collection of songs that is intriguing, beautiful and a dose of epic electro trippiness.
