There is a single vein throbbing through the collective head, which makes up this four Piece rock mission that is Spatik. The music that occupies this vessel is that of thick, relentless, and crisp tones, beats and vocals. Harmony and anarchy come together to form a balance within the low tone and driving rhythm. It is an exciting show crawling out of the basement on South Church Street and spilling onto the stages of Saint Louis. This four Piece features Shane Wagoner's precise guitar playing and passionate vocals, Jon Wayne Jones unique and thunderous bass work, Joe Cozart's grinding and colorful guitar riffs, backing vocals and screams, and drummer Barry Peraino's "Short Bus" attack on the skins. Spatik does well at blending the most intriguing elements of progressive hard rock, moody, heavy jazz riffs, and punk into something new and their own.
The groups' patented style includes a live show with complete lack of pretense, a commitment to energy, and at their best moments, hooks from each and every direction. After playing around town for a couple of years, the band is on a focus to tour, and infect the world with their debut album, "Eugene And The Level Rebel", via Traktor Noise Records. So keep your eyes and your ears open and expect to see and hear a lot more from these four guys we call Spatik.

There will be a lot of great bands to see and we'll be there too. Tell the door guy at the Fubar that you are there at our invitation (or we don't get credit for bringing friends which is the name of the game)...
