The SPCA of Upstate New York, Inc., is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the protection and care of animals. We are not a government agency, and we receive no funding from federal, state or local agencies. Instead, we rely on support from individuals and businesses, shelter adoption fees, dues, gifts, bequests and special events.

In addition to the financial support we receive from the community, we are staffed by a wonderful network of volunteers who selflessly give of their time and talents in support of our mission. We invite you to learn more... and to join us!

(gloversville) Reply to: comm-954531895@craigslist.org Date: 2008-12-11, 8:11PM EST a black lab mix and a pure bred pitbull. they turned the water off in the house my cousin was living in and they are staying in a hotel temporarly and they had to leave the dogs in the house by them self. so please if you want a dog or know somewheres to bring them, please email me. They need to get out of there. Nobody is there to take care of them. Email me for the address and you can go help your self to them, or i will meet you there. thanks

Gorgeous and Conceited Online Now!	Jun 1 2008 4:31 AM I adopted my cat machon from the fort edward shelter and she was very skittish of people because she was abused.... but I became her mom and we had a wounderful relationship and grew to love each other and she got to be a mommy cat to another adopted kitten gizzy who was very fond of her... Machon has long passed a couple years ago and gizzy just passed away a year ago in may... but the wounderful work you people do to take the extra effort for these animals is amazing and it show that animals are little people tooo who deserve to be adopted and loved and not put down for something that wasn't even thier fault.... you guys at the SPCA are great people and your work is special.... much love and love to animals there and hope that one day they will be adopted into loving families like my machon was...

grace☮	Apr 11 2008 1:43 PM hi uhm.. well last year we adopted a blacklab mix from the spca in queensbury but my parents made us give him back because he was really aggressive to my dad and i was wondering if you could tell me if he got adopted yet? his name was first butch but then we changed it to sampson -thanks there are no bad animals just bad people
