Admission is free!
UCLA students: Tickets will be available on Monday, May 14 at the Central Ticket Office (CTO). 2 tickets per BruinCard.
Non-UCLA audience: Please contact spcn2007@gmail.com with your name, phone number, and the amount of tickets you would like to request (max. 2 tickets per person). For larger groups, special arrangements can be made. Tickets for non-UCLA students will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Samahang Pilipino Cultural Night is the culmination of almost a year of preparation, integrating live music, song, dance, and theater into a cohesive production that celebrates Pilipino culture. With a cast of over 200 participants and an audience of up to 3,600 individuals, SPCN serves as an important vehicle to spread awareness about issues that affect the Pilipino community.
As a major program of Samahang Pilipino, a Pilipino student advocacy organization at UCLA, SPCN is an integral way to promote issues that are relevant to the Pilipino/Pilipino-American community. With the lack of Pilipino Studies and a Pilipino Studies Center on the UCLA campus, for 30 years SPCN has served as a creative outlet for Samahang Pilipino to educate the campus community, the greater Los Angeles area, and the Pilipino/Pilipino-American community at large about such issues.
In an age of globalization where we can visibly see the effects of the Pilipino diaspora, this year’s theme focuses on the condition of the global Pilipino community. We hope to foster an environment that creates an awareness of global issues facing our fellow Pilipinos. We encourage both participants and the audience to do something with this knowledge to make positive change in this world.

Samahang Pilipino Cultural Night Vision:
To create an educational and engaging process and production that utilizes song, dance, theatre, and other art forms in order to: (1) increase awareness and visibility of significant Pilipino/a cultural and political issues; (2) stimulate critical discussion and action; and (3) build a cohesive Pilipino/a community within the context of society as a whole. The three primary components to achieving these goals are professionalism, creativity, and innovation.
