I love music!!! I was going to be a recording engineer, but life got away from me and I didn't get to follow that dream. But that being said, you can imagine that I listen to loads of music and have a large enough CD collection to open up a radio station.
Movies
During the summer, I'm an avid movie watcher. It is my time to catch up on any new release that I may have missed during the year. Though I like to go out every now and again to watch a movie, there's something about snuggling up to one at home that is more appealing to me.
Television
Lost is one of my favorite shows, but it's not been on in what feels like FOREVER! One of these days I'm sure I'll catch back up. Until then, Desperate Housewives, Carpoolers and CSI keeps me company.
Books
I actually don't read a lot of books since I'm too busy publishing them. LOL
About me: I've been running an online poetry site for the last seven years or so called Shadow Poetry. What you will find at Shadow Poetry is a poetic community, magazine publications, poetry contests, chapbook publication, and educational stuff. It's a really neat place if you are serious about poetry and publishing.
Lastly, I am a published poet...heavily known in the haiku community more than anywhere else. I've been in so many magazines and journals, that I can't count them anymore and have been honored for my writing all around the world. My video slide show features a few of my haiga.
Who I'd like to meet: Fun-loving and honest people.
My partner and I have already launched our platform for our friends to share. Welcome you and your friends to join and to share with us your cool stuff in our project website: http://xchange.e-macropolo.com/register.php?rid=3.

Welcome to my page marie.Feel free to view it and have a blessed weekend.
Years ago, I bought a basket. Plain, unappealing – Weave already unraveled - I only paid one dollar – I set the basket on the shelf. Separated, secluded – And there it stood - unbefitting the decor –
I filled that basket, with defeated dreams – My lonely heart, my deserted thoughts – I loaded that basket, with yearning love – My unspoken need, my every want –
I found myself gazing, often, in fondness – A beautiful reminder, for somber times – My hands may be empty, my pockets uninhabited – Aloneness taking its toll, privation draping its veil –
The basket stands proud, holding seeds of intangibility – Unfaltering in its stance, draped with valor, still –
Today my gift to you, an empty basket – Plain, unappealing - weave already unraveled – All I could afford was a dollar –
