Born and raised in Clearwater, Florida, Kelly started singing
and performing at an early age. Having studied both
Classical and Jazz mediums at the Pinellas County Center for
the Performing Arts, Kelly is also a talented lyricist and
songwriter.

Aaron started the violin at the age of 3, and has played
professionally for over 18 years. Obtaining a bachelors
degree in Music Performance from the University of Toledo
in Ohio, Aaron is also a certified music teacher.

Hailing from Western Ohio, John grew up in a musical family.
Like his Father and Grandfather before him, he took up the
bass at an early age. His thoughtful playing style has its roots
in jazz, rock, funk, blues, and soul. Having studied under
Art Angers at age 10, John holds a music degree from the
University of South Florida, and has 10 years experience
teaching his own studio of private students.

Originally from “old” Czechoslovakia, Ivan brings over
25 years of experience to SpeakEasy. He has performed
professionally in Eastern Europe, Italy, and Canada, and is
diverse in many styles including Jazz, Latin, and
World Music. Ivan’s unique approach to the drums
emphasizes texture and color as well as rhythm.

Heard you at the Dunedin Brewery this past Sunday, the 2nd. AWESOME!! So refreshing to hear classic jazz from a local group, done so well.
