It started in summer 2006.Zoli had a band but it didn..t work and some members left.Then me (Boti,vocal) and Zoli (guitar) tried to make a new band.We searched for another guitar player,bassist and a drummer.I start to play bass and to sing at the same time.In december we found a drummer(Istvan) and had in february 2007 three songs.Krisz (guitar) was joining the band and we had our first concert in march (Burock1).Known as the CHROME band we decided to follow the melodycore genre and played in different places with different bands.We changed our name after a few conflicts to SPEARDROP.

Acest concurs este deschis doar formatiilor tinere, care nu au album realizat intr-o casa de discuri si care sunt din urmatoarele judete, dupa cum urmeaza : 1. - Concert Baia Mare (data si locul inca nu sunt fixate) : judetele Maramures si Salaj 2. - Concert Satu Mare (14 iunie, Casa Zamfirescu): judetele Satu Mare si Bihor 3. - Concert Cluj Napoca (23 mai, Irish Music Pub): judetele Cluj si Bistrita-Nasaud
Formatiile ce doresc sa fie inscrise, trebuie sa trimita un email la adresa info@eastwestfest.com cu o scurta biografie si legaturi catre site-ul formatiei, pagina myspace si video (youtube, myspace, etc…). Data limita este 30 aprilie 2008 pentru formatiile din judetele Cluj si Bistrita-Nasaud (concertul din Cluj Napoca) si 15 mai 2008 pentru celelalte formatii.
