Spectah:
Noun-
Definition 1.) a ghostly appearing figure, an apparition.
Definition 2.) a mental representation of some haunting experience.
Spectah, formerly known as Ryan DeMarco grew up in Brentwood, NY. At age twelve SNOOP DOGG'S “Murder Was the Case” changed Ryan's whole world. He saw the future. He said “F**K the past”. He grabbed the mic and Spectah was born. Known as the grimiest white boy in NY, by age 14 Spectah was already battle rapping and humiliating local MC’s. As time passed word spread that the next great rapper was coming straight out of Long Island (the birthplace of Rakim, EPMD, Bustah Rhymes, etc, etc). Spectah started to battle all comers at local battle clubs, The Cop Shop, Molly Blooms and SkyBar. At age 18, Ryan's mom, whom he loved so much, passed away from cancer. He was devastated. He lost his best friend in the world. And it became clear to him that he had a destiny. To rise up, put pen to paper, and hit the studio. Soon he would hook up with the Sweet Management team and record “What You Thought”, “Goodfellas” and “The Walls Have Ears”. The street and online listeners started feeding back hard core. Next up is the club banger “One Shot, Two Shot” with beats by Street Heat's own Will C. It's gonna hit you hard. The time has come. Hip Hop is dead, whether or not you agree. All that remains is a ghostly apparition. A SPECTAH.
