About me: Hi. My name is Marnie Newland. I have been working in the field of veterinary medicine for over 15 years, emergency and critical care for the past 10. I have also done pet sitting on the side. Recently, I have decided to pursue pet sitting full-time. I have a lot of experience working with animals, and I offer some nursing and hospice care for those pets with special medical needs. I feel that it is far less stressful for your pet to remain in the comfortable surroundings of their own home than to be boarded in a kennel or vet's office. This also eliminates the risk of your pet contracting an infectious disease, such as kennel cough and stress-induced medical conditions as well. I have found that pets tend to eat better, relax more, and feel happier when they are allowed to stay in their own homes while their owners are away. I am bonded and insured, and I am a member of Pet Sitters International.
