It's official! The Portland Hallowe'en Bazaar is the LARGEST Halloween festival and marketplace on the West Coast!!

The 2nd Annual Portland Hallowe'en Bazaar on October 3rd, 2009 happening the same weekend as both the opening of Oregon's most disturbing haunt, FrightTown in the Memorial Coliseum, and the 14th Annual HP Lovecraft Film Festival at the Hollywood Theatre.

Can you say 'destination weekend'?!

Already, plans are in place to make this year's Bazaar another amazing, fun-filled extravaganza featuring more than 40 vendors selling everything related to Hallowe'en, Day of the Dead and/or Krampus Nacht.

The Lloyd Center DoubleTree Exhibit Hall, our event location, is nestled neatly between the Lloyd Center Mall and the Lloyd Center Max stop, and facing the lovely Holladay park. This location is fabulous for both sellers and patrons alike!

What should you expect at this year's Bazaar?

Glad you asked! At the 2009 Portland Hallowe'en Bazaar you will find NW artisans and retailers, oddball entertainers, a 'Monsters In Art' exhibit, DJ Great Pumpkin Kids Dance Party, a fantastical Day of the Dead altar, and the new DIY area for kids of all ages, among other things.

Whether you're looking to find a wicked-fun costume, a fabulous one-of-a-kind decorative piece to hang on your front door for Hallowe'en, or maybe a fun Day of the Dead craft to do with your kids, it'll be included here, as The Bazaar offers handmade and hard to find, silly-scary, goth-goofy, Goreyesque, vintage-inspired ephemera and doodads to delight your friends and neighbors with!

Krampus will be back in attendance as well this year, and will be available to be photographed for a family portrait opportunity you won't find anywhere else.

Being bent on not just the spooky, but also the kooky, the Portland Hallowe'en Bazaar is an all-ages event. So bring out all those little boils and ghouls for what will be an exceptionally entertaining day of macabre merriment for the entire family!

Keep checking our website for up-to-date information about the 2009 Bazaar at >>>portlandhalloweenbazaar.com<<<. Included on the site will this year's Bazaar Vendors, a Haunted Happening calendar of events, online registration, paypal, and much more. Vendor registration is NOW OPEN!!! Visit the website now to sign up!

Halloween Survival Guide!!

*As a general rule, don't solve puzzles that open portals to Hell.
*Do not take *anything* from the dead.
*Don't fool with recombinant DNA technology unless you're sure you know what you're doing.
*If your car runs out of gas at night, do not go to the nearby deserted-looking house to phone for help.
*Beware of strangers bearing tools such as chainsaws, staple guns, hedge trimmers, electric carving knives, combines, lawnmowers, butane torches, soldering irons, band saws, or any devices made from deceased companions.
*Do not search the basement, especially if the power has gone out.

If for some reason you decide to ignore my rules.... can I have your sham wow!, snuggie and ab roller?

YOU'RE INVITED!  SEEKING TRADITIONALLY STYLED CARS!  Please distribute to your club!

Hearse & Rat Rod Cruise and Zombie Tromp Costume Event! Attempt to break the World Record for the Largest Gathering of Zombies, Hearses and Rat Rods in One Location!

4-8PM in Historic Downtown Centralia!

Here is the press release about the Hearse & Rat Rod Cruise and Zombie Tromp Event:

Jupiter Arts Center & Gallery, a non-profit arts organization located on N. Tower Avenue in Historic Downtown Centralia in conjunction with the Fairway Shopping Center & KMNT is sponsoring the First Annual Hearse & Rat Rod Cruise and Zombie Tromp Costume Event that will take place this Saturday, rain or shine.

The procession of the Hearses & Rat Rods will meet in the new Timberland Bank parking lot in Chehalis at 4pm. The troop of cars will be led by by the Coffin Cruisers Hearse Club from Portland, Oregon and the Rain City Hearse Club out of Seattle, Washington. Hearses & Rat Rods from as early as 1910 will be a part of the parade of cars and show. The cars will begin their processional parade through downtown Chehalis, the Fairway Shopping Center and into Downtown Historic Centralia to cruise downtown. Following the cruise all the cars will be parked downtown for a "Show & Shine" Car Show along Tower Avenue. This is a rare opportunity to see Hearse cars up close and many of the Hearse owners will be bringing their best Halloween costumes & effects to add to the fun of this event. All Hearse and Rat Rods are welcome to participate and can still sign up to be a part of the event by contacting the car coordinator at 360-220-2256.

In addition to the Hearse & Rad Rot Cruise, the Zombie Tromp Walk About will be taking place in Historic Downtown Centralia as the cars are on display. This will be the largest Halloween themed event to ever take place in Lewis County. An attempt is being made
