Monitoring
We use Yamaha HS-80M Near field Monitors (the new version of the NS-10's) and Tannoy Little Gold Monitors powered by Audio Forte amplification with (2) 15" powered subwoofers in the big room.
Instruments
We spend most of our time on instruments. We figure if the instrument your recording sounds good by itself...it's more likely to sound good recorded. Who knew?!?

There were once 5 big fish in the sea; all fighting for a chance to lead the schools of smaller fish in a quest for dominance. The fish fought, and ate, and succeeded and failed, and at the end of the day, there were only 4. There was a small fish that wondered how one day he could be one of the big fish. He had not the resources, the size, the expendable capital to acheive such elevated status. The 4 remaining big fish didn't even know he existed. One day, he came up with a plan.
