About me: My name is Susan Mattinson.
I'm a writer who finds my niche in the Cyberpunk and Speculative ("what if") genres, but I have been known to write magic realism, general fiction, and occult/horror.

My short story "A Matter of Luck" was published in the Winter 2006 Issue of "Reality Complex" Magazine, and I placed in the quarter finals (top 10%) of L.Ron Hubbard's "Writers of the Future" Contest in fall of 2004.
I was one of three winners in all of Canada for a Teachers's Association international writing competition and I placed third in Cancopy's Copyright Literacy Contest a few years after. I have also had a piece e-published on LitBits.ca (and more)
I am currently attending the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton in my fourth and final year of a B.A, Major in English: Creative Writing.
