About me: Well, let's see. We were born in 1964 to Walter McKeegan and we had a home in Arlington Texas below the grounds of what is now Six Flags Over Texas. We are mysterious sub-terranean creatures who loved our dark, mysterious, cold underground Cave at Six Flags. We lived there from 1964 until the early 1990's when we were ever so sadly evicted by that Pesky Wabbit and his Looney friends. Please look at our pictures and see if you remember visiting us at some point in your life while floating down our river inside our Cave. We loved the opportunity to frolic and work while you smiled and waved at us during your brief pass through.
Who I'd like to meet: We'd like to meet the guys that evicted us face to face so we can tell them how bad we want our Cave back...ARE YOU LISTENING WARNER BROTHERS???
i miss you guys at six flags over texas! i loved that ride! i am even planning on making you guys and the cave for a fan game of sonic or an other genere.the fan game is going to be around lost attrctions from around the world like Tales of the okeefenoke,Knott's Bear-y Tales,Back To The Future,and others even going thru time. i even plan on giving the your guy's level a mystic music like the old ride i remember you guys in. i hope you guys will comeback someday.you guys really are better than buggs bunny and them.
Lovin' the page! Thanks for bringing back such great memories of the Spees and Cave Ride. It was great to go through the Cave on a Texas summer day! I always wished the ride was much longer.
News Flash! Rumor has it that ever since the Spee-Lunkers were evicted from their rightful home at Six Flags Over Texas, they have set their sights on taking over the White House. Why not? If Mickey Mouse garners so many write-in votes each election year, so can these hardworking denizens of the deep caves. Rumor has it that their first plan for America is to secretly suck all the oil underground away from the OPEC nations, thus showing the world that, once and for all, Spee-Lunkers are NOT to be trifled with!
Rumors also point to the Lunkers planning to reclaim SFOT and putting hundreds of workers back to their true missions in life as ambassadors of smiles. Never again will these pointy-eared creatures be repressed and unemployed, as well as the riverboat workers at the park too. Joined by these allies to these riverboat captains, the displaced fiberglass animations, and one very ticked-off, hard-working beaver, a revolution is upon us! Hopefully future generations of SFOT employees can go back to their true calling in life, instead of mundane jobs as doctors, lawyers, computer techs, etc.!
Beware, change is ahead! Vote for the Spee-Lunkers...after all they build this UNDERGROUND campaing fron the ground up!
I love this page!! I can't tell you how much I miss Speelunkers Cave, LaSalle's Riverboat Adventure, and the other great places at Six Flags. I wish my boys could experience it like I did.
