I enjoy many genre of art, people and spiritual seeking. I consider myself a bit of a weaver of people and like investing myself in connecting the dots of seemingly different viewpoints.
It is important to me that I nourish myself in ways that empower me, including kayaking (I love my neighbors, the manatees), walking, dancing, attending shows (music, art and whatever), enjoying friends, being alone and vesseling/creating whatever comes through.
I like to dive into things which cause me restriction or discomfort; expanding my Self and working through the challenges.
I prefer Faith to fear, and believe all things are done
with one, or the other, to lead (or halt). With Faith, there is little room for fear. Period.
I love music, of almost every genre, from the backwood folksters of the neighborhoods, to the big venue players. I have a fondness for grassroots musician-types wherever I am. I enjoy singing and have an involuntary habit of laying in harmonies. I am a self taught guitarist who can muddle enough to write songs, but I know little of technique. I enjoy performing, jamming around a fire or standing up and sharing my view/prayer/song with an audience.
Movies
Jesus Christ Superstar, Stigmata, Lean on Me, Green Mile, Freedom Writers, No More Baths, Bruce Almighty, Evan Almighty...
Television
Joan of Arcadia (is much like my life, only I rarely get to SEE The One...I am more of a Knower, and Feeler), My Name is Earl. I like the old sitcoms that are truly funny, like Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, I Love Lucy, Mr.Ed, Dennis The Menace, and Gilligan's Island.
I also like the 50s-80s Bugs Bunny.
I watch WAY too much tv now.
Books
Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah by Richard Bach. If you haven't read this book and you feel your life is remotely guided by your creator, read it.
While you're in the Bach neighborhood, also revisit Jonathon Livingston Seagull. It's a different book read as an adult. I also have enjoyed several other R.Bach books.
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant, which precludes and follows the story of the biblical Dina.
Mists of Avalon (and series) by Marion Zimmer Bradley;
The Golden Compass (and series) by Philip Pullman ...fiction for young adults which touches on every spiritual concept I know, from angels to quantum physics, and everything in between (the movie was mediocre but the books are AWESOME);
The Heart of the Fire by Cerridwen Fallingstar ...an introspective look into one of the passed lives of the author, brought forth as a novel. IF YOU CAN FIND THIS, READ IT! ABSOLUTELY one of my favorites.
You Can Heal Your Life
(and any other book of) Louise L Hay.
All Natalie Goldberg books.
The Tao of Pooh and the Te of Piglet,
both by Benjamin Hoff (tiddly-pum).
A book which has the ability to change most folks' perceptions in a great way is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Riuz (and any of his other lovely volumes on Toltec Wisdom)
The following is an excerpt from the Four AgreementsTM:
1. BE IMMPECABLE WITH YOUR WORD
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
2. DONT TAKE ANYTHING (others do) PERSONALLY
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.
3. DON'T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
4. ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.
Books rock my world, so I'll get back to this at some point, since i always have my nose in five or six, concurrently.
Heroes
I am inspired by those who have faith in their Faith. I am moved by those who trust their Creator to guide them truly, and have the courage take responsible action for their own spiritual growth.
If you need referrals for my work, ask those among my top friends (check deeper into my friendslist too, since myspace only allows for a limited number of top friends, and I have many more clients)!
While I reside in New Port Richey, I carry out my ministerial work (performing all services/aspects of my calling) in at least four counties in the Tampa Bay area (Pasco, Hernando, Hillsborough and Pinellas). Dont worry though, if you live farther away, I CAN WORK WITH YOU BY PHONE.
To all of you who are my clients, thank you for trusting me with your hearts. I am honored to work with fellow Seekers and blessed to know each one of you.

My name is Sherry Stamback and I am happy to utilize the gifts of insight which Creator gave me. I do this by using tools: henna, tarot cards, and runes for further clarification of what I have access to from Beyond.
My metaphysical mentors and cohorts tag me with names like clairvoyent, clairaudient, clairsentient, medium, healer and others. I say, I'm just a chick who does her best to walk a spirit-filled and spirit-guided path. I am a student, a teacher and a minister (ordained by the Universal Life Church seminary).
While I am fairly well known for the readings I do and the varied sorts of art I create, I am especially known for reading henna.
Please read my blogs to better understand what mean by that, and look at the pictures of readings too.
Please note that the dark colored hue of the designs and readings here are the color of the paste itself. When the paste dries and falls off, the resulting stains will be a shade of orange which then usually darken to a brown.
Any so-called henna which results in a truly black stain is a DANGEROUS TOXIN (paraphenyldiamine...geesh I should check that spelling, but its known mostly, as PPD) and should be avoided at all costs.
In addition to the above, I also deliver messages for the Blessed Dead. Ask about this if you have interest. Seriously folks, sometimes there's still more to learn for
and from those who have moved along into the Great Beyond.
It doesnt matter when they died. I can INVITE them to let me deliver a message to you. If they feel like it, they will. I cannot force them to do so, though. (check out the blogs about the SOS From a Loved One and Guido's Story)
Who I'd like to meet: I enjoy meeting spiritually minded people of all faiths who are secure enough in their own concepts to feel no threat from the beliefs and practices of others; expansive folks; I enjoy meeting intuitive artists of any medium; potential clients; return clients...folks interested in metaphysical, expansive thinking. I would LOVE to sit down again with the Rev. Ivan Partridge, who first taught me how to Seek, Pastor Todd Farnsworth who encouraged me to become clergy, and my old neighbors: the brothers of the Weston Priory, who really brought home the example of universal acceptance of Seekers for me.
Please contact me if you feel you are ready to pick up the threads of your life and weave them into something ever-more illuminated! You, surely, are worth it.
Many folks enjoy giving the gift of enlightenment to their loved ones. For this reason, gift certificates are available.
Also, many of my clients enjoy having gatherings in their homes. I love it when my Seekers have the support of their friends after their readings, to share smiles, tears and whatever might come of their personal message. So, yes, I can be hired for this too; so long as you understand that this is not something I do to entertain people. I take my work very seriously, in spite of the frequent fun it allows.
YES! I OFFER PHONE READINGS TOO (ask me about how we arrange this)
Most of my henna work is of a prayerful nature, to help guide those on a sacred path. There are some exceptions though: I am also available to do bridal henna, to honor those beautiful pregnant bellies, and to adorn those unready for the spiritual side of themselves to be revealed.
I conduct Rites of passage (womaning circles for the new bleeder, croning circles, handfastings and marriages, crossing-over ceremonies, baby blessings).
I also offer some other services that may be of use to you, including (but hardly limited to):motivational speaking, space clearings, home blessings, spiritual development classes (private and groups), and prayerful art classes.
In addition to being an intuitive reader, I am also an artist of mediums other than henna. I enjoy doing watercolors and black ink on paper, acrylics on canvas, painting furniture and whatever else gets between me and my paintbrushes. I like drawing: mostly with ink, but pencil is good too. I work with cement too, creating altar/garden stones, and insense burners.
( check out my spellbindingartwork, by clicking on the picture below.)
I did the tattoo artist thing for more than a dozen years, and have happily moved on to my primary artwork as a henna artist.

Hey Sherry.......you have a gift and I thank you for sharing it with me. You've known me a long time. You've seen me struggle and seen first hand the effects my negative thoughts and over reliance on my mind has brought to my life. My journey to Self started long before I met you but you have helped me nurture it along and I'm so appreciative of your talents, your patience, your wisdom and connection to the divine and all beings. Thank you for the insights and counsel over the past few years and for your faith in me and my efforts. I had no idea how "lost" I was in the cavern of my own mind and thoughts. I could only sense the dimmest of possible exits. Your reminding me to "mind my mind" has been a mantra even when I didn't understand what you meant! But I persevered. I read. I prayed. I meditated. I walked. I struggled to believe but I kept on and it's paying off. There is a light at the end of the long tunnel! You have helped me reach out to it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you.
Hello My love! how are you, i am GREAT!!!Our physical situation has not change for the better, however I am doing my best to stay positive. Minding my Mind has truly helped me keep my Mind in a happy more comfortable, positive place. I know God's got my Back! xoxoxo Maryann
Sherry~ I wanted to THANK YOU for such a insightful reading. There are only two women in the world that i would ever TRUST enough for *me* to "reveal" my secrets to, you being one of the two of course; I mean tell my private stuff too. ((hee, hee)) You helped put things in perspective, you were sympathetic and understanding and most of all your advice and support was so needed. Thank you Sherry. In fact, after our session I felt much better and was able to finish the Divine Doll collection I started on last full moon. Thank you for not judging me and for not giving me your personal opinion selfishly :)
Fabulous intuitive reading.
MUCH Love, Respect to you your friend, your sacred sister Yvette Parrish~ Mambo Sur Pwen LaReina
i just wanted to tell you that i have the brick in my living room. i look at it more than frequently. it reminds me. i take a depth breath, exhale sometimes slowly and sometimes quickly, but always feel better after. it is also a constant reminder to think about what i learned with you and what we talked about. and it reminds me to get to work... thank you so so so much. love to you
once again....thank YOU, thank you, thank you!!! and thank you for my beautiful brick. it is currently in my living room and when i look at it i just exhale and release all the tension. you are truly a gift and amazing! much much love
It was a blessing to grow in front of you! Lol
It felt good. I feel great about it
And you'll be pleased to know that I've spent most of the day on the floor putting together puzzles and watching tom and jerry!
Absolutely unscheduled
Leaving work to be done
I feel off balance. But in a good way lol
I love you sherry baby!
Sherry, Thank you so much for your generous time and help this morning. Everything worked out very nicely today and I feel so much better about the situation. I thought alot about what we talked about and have some ideas what to do and feel way more confident about the situation. Your clear head and sage advice are so much appreciated. I will keep you updated. Thanks so much!! ((HUGS and LOVE))
I really cant think of a better way for me to have spent the evening last night. Just being in her presence made me feel instantly better. I'm constantly surprised about how dead on things are with her. I know I shouldn't be... I've been seeing her for a long long time... but it always rattles me a bit. I love that she never sugar coats things to me. I just get them tossed at me. ;-) And last night I learned several valuable lessons about myself. More so then I think even she realized. The term "I'm fine" is no longer in my vocabulary. LMAO I'm NOT fine. Not even a little bit (she gets this...). And Yoda is pretty much my new hero. But seriously, an incredible session last night. Thank you my love for the guidance and peace. And for the girl talk afterwards lol. (remind me to tell you about what I came home to in my mailbox... its a troll story)
If you haven't had the opportunity to sit with my dear Sherry yet I suggest that you do. Yes, its pricey. But so are my 4 lattes a day. It's an investment in yourself, in your sanity. You won't regret it for a second.
thank you again for seeing me last night! and for welcoming me into your family, home and heart. i love that i feel better the INSTANT that i see you. its an amazing, powerful thing! i am releasing. i am mourning. (i really am today... must be the moon or something) and i am ready to have unscheduled, unstructured fun this weekend with the kids! thank you for being so incredible and for understanding me. tell elias that im sorry for making him blush so much lol ((*)) ((*))
