The band was founded in the beginning of 2003 by two Croatian brothers, Branko Stekovic (guitar) and Kreso Stekovic (voice and keyboard). Forced by the civil war to emigrate from the mother land the two brothers arrived to Italy. The family had moved many times before eventually reaching and settling in Quantin.
For the first time they were now able to focus on what is most important to them and start realizing their dream of playing in and forming a rock band. It is now the search for the rest of the band members begins. The drummer makes contact with the band founders and the first bass player is found through a common friend but then decides to leave due to study commitments. Marco Levis a good friend of the band’s founders a self thought bass player of two years, expresses his interest in the role of the first bass player, and so the band is formed!
At this stage the band is complete and they call themselves “Spellbound Dazzle”.
During the year 2005 the four band members become seriously interested in competitive performances and decide to participate in a “Giovani di Note” competition, they achieve good results, which helps them become more confident and allows them to believe in their own abilities.
Only a few months having gone from their first real challenge, the Spellbound Dazzle are ready to hit the road with their first full length self recorded album entitled “Pink Salsa in Rustic Undergrowth”. This album is best described as a fusion of melodic voice, alternative metal riffs and well blended harmonius passages that overwhelme the listeners with emotion.
During this time the band still finds time to participate in two national competitions; “Emergenza”
where they are eliminated at the semifinals and “Emergenti Live” which catapults them into spotlight as their band comes second out of 70 competing bands.
But with good comes the bad too and in the beginning of year 2006 there is inner conflict, a result of differing musical tastes between the drummer and the rest of the band which eventually led to the drummers departure. Almost instantly a new drummer is found, Alessandro Corona nicknamed “Balu”, but unfortunately he doesn’t last long, leaving the “Spellbound Dazzle” a year after joining.
The remaining band members take this opportunity to have a break from pub gigs and to gather their thoughts and concentrate on their second album that would be professionally recorded in “Majestic” Studio in Venice. During the recording process the band finds a new drummer Stefano Artus. “Spellbound Dazzle” is currently promoting their second album.

Doom will never die, DOOMRAISER too!
Stay tuned… and slower, harder, drunker!
Doom will never die, DOOMRAISER too! As one door closes, another opens. Valerio has decided to leave the band; he wants to concentrate more on his other projects. We all wish Valerio the best of luck with his new vocation. He was, and remains, a formidable guitarist and was an integral part of DOOMRAISER.
However, it is with great pleasure that DOOMRAISER announce that Valerio’s replacement is to be none other than our good friend and brother, the fearsomely talented musician Willer
