Spellbound is a fantasy series that can be described as a Lord of the Rings meets Harry Potter in a sense, only with a bit more reality thrown into the mix.
It is the story of a country that had been created specifically for four different races of Immortal beings (Adurians, Creperians, Sirenians, and Cereans), each unique in their own right. For many years, they all lived in peace with an Adurian king ruling fair and justly over all of Eudora. When the king suddenly dies, foul play is suspected and the Eudorian Elders have to choose between his twin sons, Theron and Sidel for control of the crown.
Theron was the oldest and rightfully deserved the crown. But when word got out that he was suspected of poisoning his father in hopes of taking the king's place, he was refused and exiled into the Creperian lands of Oscuro Wood where he manipulated his way to becoming the Creperian Lord. Vengence boiled in his blood and he declared war upon his brother.
The War of the Royals spanned several years before King Sidel began to reach out for help. Help he received from the Sirenian leader, Commander Suranto, and his people. Still it was learned it would not be enough. Under the Queen's soft insistance, King Sidel took one last chance and contacted the leader of the Cerean clan. The people of the Cerean clan were a peaceful type who kept to themselves, but they were also well versed in the areas of magic and battle. On top of that knowledge, they held a secret.
Nestled in a clearing of the Amethyst Forest, a secret group of six teens trained under special circumstances. They had Powers that reached far beyond those of the other immortals combined. They had no special title. They were simply called, The Chosen Ones; and they would be the only ones who could have the strength and Power to make the changes so deserately wanted and needed...
If they were allowed to use those Powers for that reason...
