General	Just about everything interests me if it's presented in the proper light. Packaging is everything. I currently am developing a growing interest in Father's Rights and Children's Rights Simultaneously (you'd be surprised how linked they are). I am toying with the idea of becoming an attorney some day specializing in these areas.
Music	Spiral Joy Band "Lullabies for Jeff Dean." (Gotta love that one hehehe). I like mostly Country now but I can still rock out. (I am not fond of rap though I can listen to it some and I hate the "kill your mother" screaming nonsense that I see on the tube).
Movies	I like comedies, even romantic comedies. I also like serious science fiction. There's never been a movie made that can scare me (but a few so called scary movies have managed to disgust me). I just saw the movie "across the universe" and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.
Television	Medium. Law In Order. Mad TV. In Plain Site. Bones. Millenium. American Idol. Star Trek and STTNG. Seinfeld.
Books	I like any and all books. In fact give me a dictionary or an encyclopedia and I'll read it! I'm highly read in science fantasy, David Eddings was once my favorite. Kuntz is great. I read any type of book. I loved the flowers in the attic. Mystery. I have never read romance novels but if someone insisted I might.
Heroes	Kieth Green is one of my all time heroes. If you don't know who he is you just won't understand the explanation.

About me:
My name is Jeffrey Dean (Senior).

I don't know why my stats are in centimeters so I'll put some of my stats here. I'm 6 foot, 215 pounds, muscular/athletic build. I have ashen grey hair, electric blue eyes and I still have all of my teeth. (Laff). I've all my hair too. I'm retired Air Force (with emphasis on "tired." Laugh.

I'm pursuing my career as an author/ singer/ songwriter. If you contact me and in the course of our conversation you ask me what I do for a living I'll know one or two things about you. Either you didn't read this "about me" section very well or you do not consider pursuing author/singer/songwriter a "real" job :) If so, I have to disagree.

I set up a MySpace connection for checking out some of the music. The songs on the Jeff dean page are all 10 years old and do NOT reflect my style these days but I still like them.

I march to the beat of a different drummer and sometimes people can't figure me out.

"Love thinks no evil." I can be witty and people have been known to bust out in hard laughter when I get going.

I have a beautiful son, Jeffrey Jr. who is 8 now. He's the light of my life and we are best friends as well as father and son.

I'm single by choice right now. I came out of an unhealthy relationship several years ago (with my son's mother) and I'm taking some time to "fix" my heart so to speak. I don't date very often (hardly at all actually). I suppose I might be a bit "gunshy" still. In my last relationship my self esteem was challenged and I developed some insecurities during and after. I'm saying this only to be honest and up front I guess. (Maybe it's too much info for a public profile but that's who I am I wear my heart on my sleeve). If I do have another relationship it will come about slowly I think, I won't rush into things (like some people I know). I am very romantic and I give heart completely. When it gets broken it takes years for me to get over it! In fact, in my entire life I've never engaged in "casual dating." When I meet someone that I am interested in I usually end up "involved deeply." I was married for 14 years (from 1984 to 1998) and I had no children during that marriage. I dated 3 women between 1998 and 2000 and then got engaged and had a child! I'm only saying all of this so that I can show that I'm not a "player." On the lighter side, I love music! Any kind of music.

I'm full of surprises (most of them good ones, hehe). I've grown so much in the last few years and continue to grow.

Who I'd like to meet:
I am not here just to "meet women" like so many men here are. I'm in a unique place in my life right now. I'm actually content to be alone. (I haven't dated in the last year and a half). Don't get me wrong, I'd love to meet someone that I can connect with. A woman who is beautiful inside and out and can accept me as I am. I'm just not desperate (like so many my age who don't have someone might be). I've been seriously burned in the past and it's made me cautious and yes, I admit, a bit skeptical. I'm not cynical about it, though and I still have a secret hope that I will meet a woman that will make me act stupid :)
