Spencer Russell plays upright and electric bass and causes noises to emanate from various computational and otherwise electronic devices. He is also mostly bipedal.
We value every new jazz "friend" we find. So, we appreciate your add very much.
If you are interested in having serious jazz people visit your MySpace page and hear your music .... this may help.
We have a jazz blog with over 250 playlists on it. Each day hundreds of jazz fans come to this blog to listen to music. These are the people you want to see your site.
We offer a limited number of listings on the blog to let the jazz fans know about some interesting jazz artists on MySpace (that would be you). A 6 month listing is only $24 (thats just $1 a week).
Spencer - good to hear from you in the form of automated MySpace friend request message! I'm trying to move to New York soon - I'll definitely be there Apr 8-13 for the David Krakauer workshop at Carnegie Hall, but I'm generally looking for a place to live there starting probably late April or May... it would be cool to see you at some point - and I'd appreciate your letting me know if you hear of anything!
Hooo--eeee! I see you've taken a liken to us Sweetback Sisters hmmm? Well you stop by anytime to say "Howdy," you hear?

thanks man, uhhhh yeahhh. i can't wait to play and hang again! i guess i'll be in ny for almost a month too. we will indeed make sweet nothings together, in fact i think you should forgo your lucrative career and tour with us. otherwise i will have to make my left hand be "you" sometimes, and that just isn't right. unless i paint eyes and a mouth on it and say "my name's spencer russell, blah blah blah"
Please tell me you didn't find me through the Frontiers of Science video? Haha just kidding. What's up? Late night studying and recording here - exams are soon!
