It all started when I was born, which in many ways was the beginning of the end. I began playing drums at school and getting involved in Amateur dramatics before deciding it wasn't for me I did however learn the guitar during a production of the Sound of Music, and my future was sealed. I decided to write two or three minute melodic narratives shrewdly combining chords with lyrics in the same key, making sure to repeat certain sections again and again so that people would remember them and perhaps sing along, next I had a wave of the brain and combined these songs with other instruments like electric bass and drums, making sure that all the instruments are in time with each other. I had stumbled on a silvermine of possibilities!! Leaving the house one day I realised that I was not the first one to have done this. In short I was shocked and it has taken me about 10 years to be comfortable with this and come to the conclusion that even though I didn't think of it first, I could still do it too. Thus Spencer McGarry- the Life the Music... the Legend
It goes like this
I'm doing 6 albums each with a diferent theme The first one will be called Episode 1 and will be a rock record in the style of my favourite Rock records,
more than that I cannot tell you
The New York Times "Katell Keineg has a voice so charged with feeling that it lifts everything she sings to the level of a primal wail"
LA Times "Conveying a nearly beatific sense of joy in performance"
Tom Moon, National Public Radio (US) " Here are wildly inspired songs filled with literate and mystical images, songs that aspire to the sprawl and sweep of epic novels."
