If you've ever read an "artist biography," then you've heard (or read) it all before. In the case of Spencer Rush, though, it's all true. Spencer's songs are edgy and cool. His real-life wit and emotion come through in each line, supported by a velvety voice with incredible range. Spencer has taken the best of his musical influences (Elton John, The Police, and Pink Floyd, among others) and created a sound that's unique, yet utterly universal.

Spencer's latest CD was produced by Noel Golden (Matchbox 20, Angie Aparo, Edwin McCain) at Sonica Studios in Atlanta, GA. The 6-song EP is an example of mature songwriting combined with passion and talent of some of the best in the business.
Touring >
Playing over 250 shows a year, Spencer knows the value of consistent touring and grassroots promotion. As a result, he has a developed an amazingly loyal fan base in numerous markets throughout North and South Carolina and Georgia.
I hope all is well with you. I want to invite you to a Blues Jam at Gumby's in Greenville, SC on Nov. 8th. It is called The Sparkle City Blues Jam and it will benefit The American Cancer Society and help out a local family effected by Cancer.
I went to the first Jam in Spartanburg and it was a great success. Lot's of cool musicians turned out and mixed it up on stage all day and night long... and some of the best music I've heard lately. Great for bands & musicians to network. Anyway, would you atleast pass the word to people you know that would like this sort of thing.
