About Spencer Waasdorp Music (NEW SINGLE NEXT WEEK)
Spencer Waasdorp started playing music long before he became a phenomenon in Western New York. He started playing drums at age 6. He soon moved on to his true love, the guitar. Before long, Spencer expanded his musical prowess to bass guitar and piano as well as singing. Spencer soon formed a band called Rolling Thunder with childhood friends Mike Sullivan, Mike Landry and Corey Sadlik. They changed their name to Unwritten Scene and started playing numerous covers across many genres of music as well as penning their own original songs. The band won three different battle of the bands competitions before officially breaking up. Since then, Spencer has joined two bands – DNR (Do Not Resusciate), a class rock cover band, and Back In Time, an 80’s cover band specializing in 80’s pop, rock, dance and “hair” metal. Spencer has also played bass for his high school pit band as well as the school’s concert and jazz band. Spencer is also working on a project called whitenoise, formally known as warpaint. Spencer is often referred to by his fans as “the shredding ginger that gives chills.” And it’s 100% true.
Spencer attends Finger Lakes Community College and is double majoring in Music Recording Technology/Engineering and also in Music with a Concentration on Jazz Guitar . Spencer is currently recording an EP of original songs co-written by himself, Dillon Deshong and Craig Waasdorp and Joe Stramonine co-producing and recording. All musicians/producers that participate in recordings will be listed. Be prepared to have your f***ing minds blown.
