Originary from Bali, Indonesia, Spicy began in 1999 as resident in the prestigious Paris Club, the Asian Bar located on the Champs Elysees. In 2001, Spicy has many events in the best clubs of the capital like Elysée Montmartre, SIX SEVEN, LE CAB, MIX CLUB, radio and TV shows such as "CULT" on France 5 hosted by MTV’s Ray Cokes, and even Cannes Festival for Bollywood Movies. His energetic and festive mix sets make him known from Paris to Reunion Island as Benjam’s DJ, the number one dancehall reggae singer. 2007 will be a landmark year in Spicy’s career, since he mixes alongside DIDIER SINCLAIR during a famous night at Paris MIX CLUB. In 2008, about 30 years and a 15 years experience, he settles in Morocco for a new residency at LOFTCLUB- TANGIER. Referenced in northern Morocco clubbing, DJ SPICY is labelled as a confirmed artist in both Electro and RNB movements. He has mixed along with world famous DJs such as JOACHIM GARRAUD, DARIO NUNEZ, PAULETTE, ARNO COST and NORMAN DOREY... Since then, he continues to browse new musical influences, mixing styles, genres, trends and cultural sonorities. Today, his Electro House sets which are inspired by his travels and his club experiences in the are the key element of his originality.
