Spife Knockturn is the alias of a student-musician, born 1987, residing in the Philippines. According to his mother, he was made to listen to classical music while still in her womb. His father bought him a small guitar when he was 8, and he started to write and record silly songs using four chords his father taught him. The arrival of a laptop during the time of Windows 95, he began to experiment with electronic music using sound recorder, short wav samples, a small keyboard and his small guitar. His first electronic songs were usually under 1 minute long, with lyrics taken from book passages. With his brother, they named the songs under the artist name Stickers n' Stitches. As technology improved and his equipment set improved, he began to write longer electronic songs, still under Stickers n' Stitches. In high school he played guitar and/or bass in several bands with his friends, and he started to write rock songs under the moniker Spife Knockturn. Going to college, he wrote and recorded more songs. As of today, his future, according to him, is still "bright yet unclear".
