Spilt is a modern rock band from Warrenton, Virginia. We are not a gimmick band......the songs are all we have to offer. We love playing music and we want everyone to experience the harmonic vibrations created when we plug in and play our instruments.
As of the middle of June 2008, the members of S P I L T have amicably decided to pursue other ventures. We would like to personally thank those of you who understood and supported what we were trying to do. I loved this band with all of my heart and will cherish the memories both good and bad until the day I die.
UPDATE, August 2009.......DC Area bands, please quit emailing me!!! the thought of going to your shows, and hanging out with your little sister and all of her dumbass friends actually pisses me off! For the most part the bands can't play or write an original song!! You are regurgitating a multitude of bands that came before, there is a reason art prints are not worth the same as an original. Your music really sucks....if I said I liked your band I was lying to your face for political reasons....The DC Scene is full of terrible fucking musicians and a few really talented ones....the good ones know who they are, if you are offended by this little spiel you probably suck dick and should quit playing so the good bands can play shows....The bands that should get support DON'T, the ones that are terrible but bring more than 20 of there stupid friends to cheer for them can get bent.....the entire local scene in that area made me want to fucking puke on myself......and to the 10 or 15 people who really control the DC music scene....especially if you are affiliated with DC101.....please enjoy your Nickelback records and fuck off please.....
