The second annual South Padre International Music Festival will kick off this Halloween weekend (Oct. 31st-Nov.2nd) on the beautiful South Padre Island.
For the entire weekend, musicians from around the world will rock the tropical island to its core. SPI Music Fest will be spread out over more than 10 venues across the island, giving music fans a chance to spend their Halloween weekend on warm, white sand beaches surrounded by turquoise water.
Attendees can look forward to a wide array of stunning musicians, and take advantage of windsurfing, kiteboarding, scuba diving, sea kayaking, deep-sea fishing and vibrant nightlife in the 70-degree breeze.

My son reports Ghostland Observatory show ROCKED. He said the visual production SO exceeded the show he saw at the Roger Waters concert - really awesome. Sound was fantastic with the "Dunes" stage built in the wave pool at Schlitterbahn. Acoustics were fabulous and everyone could see everything so easily. Took in Brownout - excellent venue - Pelican West VERY UPSCALE! Grupo Fantasma and all the bands at the Bay stage were a fantastic ending to the evening. The costumes were unbelievable - especially the satyr on stilts!!! He is looking forward to the Saturday shows! Reporting Live from South Padre Island - the Will's Mom Report :-)
Suzanna Choffel - wonderful show - but hotter than expected today - especially drained after a few hours on the GORGEOUS beach! Needed lots of liquid refreshment! Came home for a nap and to rest up for the many shows tonight. Great Festival! Live from SPI Music Fest from the "Will's Mom Report"!!!
Had an absolute blast! Thank you for including me in the amazing talent pool you had this year. I had so much fun opening up the fest and just as much fun closing it out by watching Willie on stage! This week was one to remember! All my best, Bree Stevens
