Spinal Cross was formed in the Summer of 2006 by Chad Slane (vocalist), and Tanner Hodgkinson (drummer). The band has endured many personnel changes between then and now but the core of the band, and its direction, has remained powerful and creative. Spinal Cross is an in-your-face rock band that would have fit in great in the days of Motley Crue and AC/DC, but is just as relevant now as the rock world seems searching for something that it’s been missing a while. Spinal Cross has played shows with such national touring acts as Switchfoot, The Glasspack, Midnight to Twelve, Tattooed Millionaire and many more. They have generated a strong fanbase and proved it when Spinal Cross released their first full length Album “Filthy Hot” in September 2009, playing to hundreds of hungry and excited Spinal Cross fans.
The band has secured a partnership with Damon Moreno of the Inner Light Agency to serve as the band's Artist Development director.
Spinal Cross is currently writing exciting new material and looking forward to a prosperous 2010.
