If there is anything that 2009 should be known for it is facial hair. This year we saw many of our beloved, polished artists sport more than just a 5 o'clock shadow. Whether life on the road has finally started catching up with them or they've boycotted Gillette, 2009's bands embraced their Cro-Magnon roots and made beards socially acceptable once again.
