My work is often dark, depressing or grotesque. Despite what may be conveyed through my pieces, they are not usually directly related to me as a person. Often when I post a new piece I get messages along the lines of "Keep your head up" or "What's wrong?!". Generally speaking, I am an out-going, cheerful and optimistic person. We all have our moments of struggle and despair, but I assure you my work is not a representation of me all the time. Nor is it usually a representation of any family member, lover, ex-lover, friend, etc. Although, I do often make medical related pieces to raise money for bills regarding my medical condition. Now that the statistics for my condition have raised from %5 to %20 in the last two years (!), there are now doctors who specialize in treatment for those of us surviving. There is still no known cause for this physical syndrome but doctors think they are on the right path to finding out. The amount of money I need to raise to pay for medication, doctor's visits, physical therapy, and counseling is quite substantial, but I would never want any customer to buy my work out of pity. Please purchase work from me only if you enjoy the work I create. That is the greatest gift I can receive. Also, I DO post work for sale to raise money to help other causes, mainly for my friend who is struggling with schizophrenia. I tend to make special announcements for said art. With that said, I hope you enjoy my work! :D
