| General | Football and music. Oh, and the occasional pint of lager or Guinness! Recently I've re-discovered something I loved as a kid.....the original Dragnet radio show! DUM-DE-DUM-DUM! | | Music | My fav band are the Spin Doctors, but - shock, horror! - I am very much into the Long Winters right now (it's who's playing now!). I like lots of US Alt - Nirvana, Mudhoney, Pearl Jam, Mother Love Bone, Dinosaur Jr, Blind Melon, Buffalo Tom, Himalayans, the list goes on.
Check out The Day I Met Elizabeth Montgomery if you have a mo. | | Movies | The Goonies, the Karate Kid films (although perhaps not the Next Karate Kid), With Honors (US spelling!) and the Scream Trilogy. I like lots of other films, but those are the ones that jump out at me right now. | | Television | The Simpsons, Friends, Saved By The Bell, Fraiser, Seinfeld, My So Called Life, Everybody Loves Raymond, Game On.............need I go on?! That said, I don't have a TV right now and it's working out well. | | Books | All of the Kay Scarpetta books by Patricia Cornwell, the "Burglar Who..." series by Lawrence Block, books by Michael Connelly............I'll read pretty much anything really. My fav book is Around The World in 80 Days by Jules Verne. Jules rocks for a dead French guy! | | Heroes | Artie - the Strongest Man in the World! And Powdered-Toast Man! And of course Detective Sergeant Joe Friday! |
