This is my space,nobody talks in the third person round here unless your a complete ass. This is Spinz, live and direct, writing this little note about myself so you can feel where im coming from. Born in Oxnard,California right along the surf and nice beeeeaches, went to school at Ventura High and found my love for music a little bit before that. It was around 89 when I figured out that music is all I want to do for the rest of my life.
I learned early about hip hop because of the other artists that were also raised in the area where I grew up. I was also inspired early by groups like the Whooliganz and House of Pain,Cypress Hill and King T and Tha Alkoholiks and Dr. Dre. I grew up listening to Friday Night Flavas with the Baka Boys and hearing guests like Wu Tang Clan,Xzibit,Tha Liks,Organized Konfusion,Outkast and others. I was still maaaad young but really had a deep passion and drive to become an MC.
Now adays I rap on everything a producer sends me. I have too many compilations to name, 3 solo albums under my belt and one more on the way on September 1st this year 2009. I have performed concerts and festivals around the world and in front of more than 30,000 people with world famous techno DJ Umek, who also produced that Ready,Steady song you may or may not have listened to when you got on here.
I have beef with no one, I stay hard in the studio until I can get into a situation, I have past features and production dropping soon with Koolade,Big Shug,Georgia Anne Muldrow,Dudley Perkins,Tangled Thoughts,Tek,Young De,Kurupt,Lexicon,LMNO,Edo Maajka,Frenkie and many others. I dont want to bore you with the stuff you cant hear yet, but keep on this page and you can check the tracks and leave me a comment. I know everyone is on facebook these days anyways so dont worry if you dont leave me a comment, just dont send me comments about beats, unless your Koolade, Kanye West,Primo,Flying Lotus, or Dr. Dre. I wont buy your beats, and it is a sure bet I will press the little spam button when you send me those messages.
